According to Ukrainian authorities, about 85 accounts were used across 21 banks – four of them state-owned – to post Hr.150 million (roughly $3.3 million) in bail for former Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko. The transfers are central to the new anti-graft probe dubbed “Forrest Gump,” which is investigating the suspected money-laundering scheme.
