V Izraeli přestalo fungovat pět ze šesti celostátních zařízení na odsolování mořské vody, která pokrývají velkou část spotřeby pitné vody v zemi. V pondělí to napsala izraelská média. Podle úřadů za přerušení provozu může velká zakalenost mořské vody způsobená meteorologickými podmínkami.
