Americký stát Kalifornie zavedl nová protipožární pravidla týkající se stromů a keřů kolem domů. Dřevité rostliny se nebudou moct sázet do jednoho a půl metru od budovy. Nová opatření mají zabránit šíření ohně. Pro Kalifornii je mementem rozsáhlý požár z loňského ledna, při kterém zahynulo 31 lidí. „Mikromanagement zeleně je až velmi nešikovné řešení dlouhodobých problémů rozvoje,“ říká pro Český rozhlas Plus urbanista a architekt Peter Bednár.
