Největší plně bateriově poháněné letadlo na světě oficiálně absolvovalo svůj první let. Představuje významný krok vpřed pro dlouho očekávaná elektrická letadla i pro technologii baterií obecně. 30místné letadlo vzlétlo z regionálního letiště v severní části státu New York a letělo 27 minut výhradně na bateriový pohon, přičemž dosáhlo výšky 335 metrů. Na palubě nebyli žádní cestující, pouze jeden pilot.
