Maria Chayko, 25, daughter of Russian Aerospace Forces Commander Aleksandr Chayko, was reportedly among those injured in a Moscow restaurant bombing on Aug. 1, according to Russian outlet Verstka. Her husband, Danylo Peredriy, 27, may have been killed in the blast. The bombing at Balzi Rossi restaurant killed five people and injured 21. Aleksandr Chayko, who commanded Russian forces during the Bucha occupation, is believed to have been the target of the attack.

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani rejected claims by Russia's ambassador that the deadly explosion at Moscow's Balzi Rossi restaurant was meant to intimidate Italians. He said the allegation made no sense because Italy has consistently supported Ukraine.
