Novi potpuno električni Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 završio je krug na Nürburgring Nordschleifeu za 7:32.070 minuta i postao najbrži automobil u svojem segmentu. Kompaktni model sa 680 KS bio je brži od vremena koje su ranije postavili Porsche Taycan Turbo S i Tesla Model S Plaid s više od 1000 KS, ali ne i od kasnijeg Plaida opremljenog paketom Track Package.
